    You know when something happens even if you didn't plan it?
    The whole story started when I spent half my life looking for the right barbecue. I've seen everything, bought every possible and impossible type of barbecue and barbecued with it. From fire pits to gas, electric, smokers, chimney pipes to Weber Outdoorchief kugel, it was all there!!!
    Every time the lifespan of these products approached the expiry date, the big question arose again: what do I buy?
    And at some point it came - my first contact with Kamado Grill! And yes, it was the big green egg!
    I saw it online and was surprised: "That thing costs a fortune". So I waited and forgot about it again.
    Then I received an invitation to a barbecue course - THAT was my ultimate experience! There they were, 10 different product heaters and the big green egg in the centre. It had to be like this. The chicken thigh cooked down from the Big Green EGG, one bite - and - I knew it, THAT'S it! That flavour! Exactly what I've always been looking for.
    So back online and the search begins anew. Where can I get this oven? CHUR? I have to travel to Chur for a barbecue so I can see all the products and all the different sizes? Are you serious?
    Yes, I have to. So phone John to make an appointment and off we go to Chur. John knows how to do it. I arrive, get out and what do I see? A Green EGG in operation. First a loaf of bread, then some lamb and to top it off we smoke a fillet of fresh salmon. ? I am lost.
    Nevertheless, I fill my boot, spend a fortune, drive home, assemble the Big Green Egg and, logically, I immediately start barbecuing. I realise the Big Green Egg can do everything I want. From smoking to cooking down, grilling, braising, baking bread and pizza. Just my thing.
    I'm so enthusiastic that I offer to open a shop for John. No sooner said than done. The shop opens in my double garage in August 2016. Not very popular with the public, but it was a good start.
    In March 2017, we moved to the current showroom in Schlossgarage Brunegg AG in Brunegg.
    In the meantime, we can say that we have had some great and interesting years, with lots of good contacts and exciting conversations. From barbecue courses to home presentations and catering for up to 25 people. I am grateful for all these encounters and this wonderful time. 
    2019 then the first contact with "The Bastard", the black version of Big Green Egg. 2020 the first idea to include "The Bastard" in our range. After various conversations, trial barbecues and long discussions about whether we should or shouldn't, we decided to go for it.
