STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is one of the world's most recognised labels for textiles tested for harmful substances. It stands for customer confidence and high product safety. If a textile article is labelled with the STANDARD 100 label, you can be sure that all components of this article, i.e. all threads, buttons and other accessories, have been tested for harmful substances and that the article is therefore harmless to health. The test is carried out by the independent OEKO-TEX® Institute on the basis of the comprehensive OEKO-TEX® criteria catalogue.
Made IN GREEN BY OEKO-TEX® The 100% NATURE collection has been awarded the MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® label. However, they are not the only outstandingly sustainable items in the CALIDA collection. In 2016, CALIDA was the first underwear brand in the world to introduce the MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TE X® label. The product label is not only awarded according to strict social and ecological criteria, but also states that textiles labelled with it have been tested for harmful substances. Items labelled with this label can be transparently traced by the consumer using a unique product ID or a QR code. CALIDA continuously fulfils its pioneering role in the field of sustainability and expands the MADE IN GREEN range each season with numerous women's and men's styles. The children's collection has been fully certified since autumn 2016.
CRADLE TO CRADLE Cradle to Cradle Certified™️ defines and develops products that can be used again and again in the biological cycle. For this purpose, they are decomposed into biological nutrients and promote new life such as plant growth. The renewable raw materials and substances are in turn the basis for new products. With the Cradle to Cradle Certified™️ principle, all components of the certified articles can be completely returned to the biological cycle after use without producing waste. In contrast to conventional recycling, the quality of the raw materials is retained over several product life cycles.
