Since 1975, Neocolor™ II Aquarelle has established itself as an integral part of the fine arts thanks to its versatility and the intensity of its pigments. It goes back to a special request: in the early 1950s, Caran d'Ache launched Neocolor™ I, a permanent wax pastel that was loved by educators and artists such as Picasso and Mirò. Its vibrant colours and quality are second to none, but it has one drawback: it sticks so well that it leaves permanent marks on tables. Caran d'Ache then developed a water-soluble version, and so Neocolor™ II Aquarelle was born. To mark its 50th anniversary, Caran d'Ache is celebrating this special occasion with a Special Edition and a Limited Edition. Fifteen new colours enrich five themed palettes: Pop, Lush, Portrait, Pastel and Dark. Each box of 10 colours contains three new shades for imaginative discoveries.
