    The history of the PLOZZA VINI trading company dates back to 1919, when Pietro Plozza, a 29-year-old employee of the Rhaetian Railway, began selling Italian wines by the glass to hotels, shops and private individuals in Graubünden. In the years that followed, the founder built wineries in Brusio and Tirano. Plozza SA Brusio was founded in 1973. The wine trading company Kaufmann AG in Davos was acquired in 1989 and the Cottinelli AG wine house in Malans in 1994.
