    MEZCAL AMORES sources its raw materials for mezcal from various smaller producers in the regions of Oaxaca and Guerrero. The cooperation with the farmers goes beyond a mere trading relationship: in addition to fair prices that are significantly above the average market level, MEZCAL AMORES also invests a portion of its turnover back into the growing regions in order to promote ecological, social and infrastructural projects and sustainably improve the quality of life of the local population.

    MEZCAL is made from the pulp of espadin agave, which is traditionally steamed for several days at low temperatures in earth ovens to extract the full range of flavours. The resulting sugary juice is slowly fermented with natural yeasts and finally distilled. The result is a soft, earthy and aromatic MEZCAL with smoky flavours.
