About the producer

    CHUGOKU-JOZO DISTILLERY was founded in 1918 on the Japanese peninsula of Honshu near Hiroshima. Initially, CHUGOKU-JOZO produced fine liqueurs and sake, but the company has now also made a name for itself with its whiskies. However, the whiskies are not distilled in-house, but imported from Scotland and Canada and refined in wooden casks in Japan.

    On the nose, the TOGOUCHI PEATED CASK FINISH has aromas of black tea, orange peel and chocolate. It is very smooth on the palate and combines smoke with honey and coconut flavours. The long finish is also accompanied by caramel, lavender and smoky peat flavours.
