    Founded in 1893, BALVENIE DISTILLERY is located in the heart of Speyside, Scotland's most famous whisky region. It has been run by WILLIAM GRANT & SONS for five generations, just like Glenfiddich and several other world-renowned distilleries. The barley for BALVENIE whisky is still grown by the company itself, and all other production steps are also carried out on site, by hand and with the utmost care.

Tasting notes

  • Serve pure and at low room temperature or slightly chilled

    Clear amber in colour; complex aromas on the nose with strong notes of barley, vanilla, some dried apples, candied orange peel and fennel. Rich, very smooth single malt with a fine extract sweetness. The finish is long and very complex with dried fruit, caramel and almonds.
