Mechanical exfoliants like body scrubs remove rough, dead skin cells from the skin’s surface and stimulate circulation, which supports cell renewal and regeneration. However, many scrubs contain harsh exfoliating particles like microplastics and other chemicals that can disrupt the skin’s natural barrier and harm both skin and the environment. Dr. Sturm’s ANTI-AGING BODY SCRUB is an intensive 2-in-1 anti-aging exfoliator and oil treatment that gently removes rough skin cells while deeply hydrating the skin, leaving it smooth, soft, and supple.
- -First, use the enclosed spoon to thoroughly mix the scrub — oil and salt formulations naturally separate in the jar, but this does not affect the product’s quality. As you stir, the product’s volume will increase slightly as the ingredients blend together; the jars are designed with extra space to accommodate this. Apply a small amount of scrub to damp skin and massage in circular motions, focusing on rough areas such as elbows, knees, and heels. Rinse thoroughly. Use once or twice per week. Caution: Shower surfaces may become slippery due to the oils.
