The scalp protection mode is compatible with the gentle airflow attachment and the styling nozzle. -Lightweight, powerful motor The Dyson Hyperdymium motor (V9) is fast, lightweight and compact. It runs at up to 100,000 rpm and moves 13 litres of air through the appliance every second. -Fast, intelligent drying The Air Multiplier technology combined with a powerful motor generates a powerful airflow for fast drying. -Pauses styling when you do The auto-pause function uses a motion sensor that recognises when the hairdryer is put down during styling - or when you pause to section your hair, for example. The appliance then automatically deactivates the heating element and reduces the air flow and volume. -Intelligent attachments The five intelligent attachments are suitable for different styling needs and hair types. They have pre-programmed airflow and temperature settings, which can also be individually adjusted within an optimised range. The appliance uses a detection sensor to automatically recognise the different attachments as soon as they are put on and switch to the last settings used. The wave and curl diffuser offers two modes. In dome mode, the air is channelled through the hair for more defined natural waves or curls. The diffuser mode in turn provides more volume at the roots to give natural curls and frizzy hair more texture.
