- -THE CREATION Rouge Brillant Silky is inspired by the lustre of Hermès silk. Like a brilliant veil, this new lipstick covers the lips with delicate colour and its opacity can be modulated according to the desired intensity. Gregoris Pyrpylis, Creative Director of Hermès Beauté, designed a palette of sensual beige, radiant red and subtle rosé shades. THE COLOUR THE TEXTURE The delicately melting texture of Rouge Brillant Silky lays transparently on the lips like a light, pleasant veil of colour. Its light to medium coverage allows you to vary the intensity: from a subtle, completely transparent colour to a more intense result THE FORMULA The hybrid formula, which combines make-up and care, contains up to 85% ingredients of natural origin and provides comfort and moisture as soon as it is applied. Based on vegetable oils and BUTTER, it offers active ingredients that care for the lips in a natural way: an extract of raspberry leaves that moisturises and plumps, an extract of sesame seeds that smoothes and softens, vegetable crambe oil that nourishes and protects, and white mulberry. Created by Hermès perfumer Christine Nagel, the fragrance combines the delicacy of arnica, sandalwood and angelica. THE OBJECT Pierre Hardy designed a slender object with lacquered and brushed metal surfaces. The clasp is decorated with the Hermès ex-libris. Rouge Brillant Silky is protected by a linen bag in the colour Rouge H, which is embedded in an orange box. ETHICS The Brilliant Silky lipsticks are refillable. Only the lipstick inside is perishable. The refill packs are available separately. THE GIFT The fine, bevelled shape of the lipstick allows for easy, instinctive and generous application to the lips. Depending on the desired intensity of the make-up result, Shiny Lipstick Silky can be applied in one or more layers. THE RITUAL For perfectly lined or lightly shaded lips, use the Trait d'Hermès lip liner before applying the Silky glossy lipstick.
