Cake plates and cake bells for a cosy coffee break

A delicious cake or gateau tastes even better on a beautiful cake platter. In our shop you will therefore find many decorative platters and cake plates for your home-baked or store-bought cakes. You can also order cake bells from us. They are equipped with an additional bell-shaped lid that protects the cake from dust and keeps wasps away during the summer months. The bell also keeps the cake fresh for longer and is therefore a practical feature if you bake the cake the day before the coffee table or regularly have a few pieces left over. The lid of a cake bell is usually made of glass or a transparent plastic such as acrylic. The latter makes handling easier, as acrylic is much lighter than glass. Even well-known brands therefore often prefer Acrylic.

The materials - Porcelain, Glass, Metals and even wood

The cake plates are also made from numerous materials. Many are made of a ceramic such as fine bone china, which has a fine structure and therefore looks elegant. The porcelain can remain white, but can also be painted or glazed to give it a beautiful colour or pattern. Cake plates made of glass and metals such as stainless steel or aluminium are also widely used. However, you can also find wooden cake plates in our webshop. They fit particularly well into a natural interior and radiate cosiness with their warm brown colour.

Small and large cake plates with or without a stand

If you want to buy a cake platter, you also have the choice between a platter that you place directly on the table and a model with a stand. Such a stand ensures that your cake is clearly visible to everyone. At the same time, it makes it easier for you to place a piece of cake on the plate for each family member or guest, as the base gives your hands a little more freedom of movement. Cake plates also differ in terms of their size and format. For a whole cake, it is best to use a round platter, which you can also get from us in a version for small cakes. However, an oval or rectangular cake plate is just as suitable for cream slices and other delicacies.
