Bring a piece of France into your kitchen. The round and smooth crêpes pan not only gives a visual impression of savoir vivre, it also makes it easy to make the popular and delicious crêpes. The pan has a small rim so that nothing can spill out, including a wooden slider. Cast iron frying pans are a real basic for every kitchen. Thanks to the good heat storage capacity and even heat distribution of the material, the pan remains very hot even with a low heat supply and the food can be seared until hot and crispy. HEAT STORAGE Cast iron cookware from Le Creuset is particularly energy-saving, as the heat is optimally distributed from the base to the walls and is stored for a long time. BLACK ENAMEL Black enamel is mainly used in cast iron pans. This enamel has been specially developed for frying at higher temperatures. Roasting and frying flavours can develop optimally and ensure an exceptional taste experience. ADVANTAGE - fast and even heat distribution - good for everyday cooking
Do not remove the patina (the slightly brownish, shiny bottom layer) that forms on the bottom of the pan on the black enamel surface. It improves the frying results and the release of food residues from the base of the pan. Always allow the hot product to cool slightly before rinsing. If possible, rinse the product in hot water and then wipe the surface with a damp cloth. For more thorough rinsing, you can use hot rinsing water, then rinse the cookware with clear water and dry well. This will preserve the patina.
