Retinol 1% in Squalane is an anhydrous solution containing 1% retinol - an active ingredient that improves the appearance of fine and dynamic lines caused by the loss of collagen and elastin, while smoothing skin texture and tone. In addition, this expert formula contains squalane, a naturally occurring moisturiser in the skin that increases surface hydration and helps to combat the dryness that can accompany retinol use. The Ordinary Tip: Start with Retinol 0.2% in Squalane and slowly work your way up to Retinol 0.5% in Squalane and Retinol 1% in Squalane. If you are prone to sensitivity, you should use newer retinoid technologies, such as those in our Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion. Note: Once opened, this formula should be stored in the refrigerator and used within three months.

Apply a small amount to the face in the evening as part of your skincare regime, after water serums but before heavier treatments. Do not use together with other retinoid treatments. Avoid exposure to unprotected sunlight. Store in a cool and dry place.
