About the producer

    In 1882, Joseph Cartron founded a drinks trading company in Nuits-Saint-Georges and became famous with the development of Crème de Cassis Double Crème. Today, CARTRON is in its fifth generation of producing fine liqueurs and brandies that are sold worldwide. Many of the well-guarded recipes date back to Armand Cartron, who ran the company from 1940 to 1985.
