About the producer

    The founder of ITALICUS, Giuseppe Galli, grew up on the Italian Amalfi Coast, which is famous for its citrus fruits as well as its beautiful landscape. His mother made a liqueur from bergamot peel, which can be seen as the foundation stone for his ROSOLIO DI BERGAMOTTO. In addition to the dominant bergamots, there are other southern Italian botanicals in this liqueur, the recipe for which is based on the popular 18th century drink Rosolio.

Tasting notes

    ROSOLIO DI BERGAMOTTO has the colour of a light white wine and smells of earl grey. When the glass is swirled, other notes are added, including lavender, rose, pine needles and lemonade. The palate is slightly sweet, with bergamot dominating at first, followed by tart, bitter gentian and finally floral flavours.
