The GEL-KAYANO 14 reappears with its late 2000s aesthetic as a nod to Asic's famous GEL-KAYANO series. It is the first of this shoe series to be designed by someone other than Toshikazu Kayano and comes with updated materials and components. This is a reinterpretation of the brand. The shoe features the original midsole construction with GEL technology cushioning. The fit has been improved while retaining the multi-layered leather and mesh construction from 2008. The insole is produced using a solution dyeing process that reduces water consumption by 33% and CO2 emissions by approximately 45%.
