A designer candle that vividly captures the essence of Tiramisù al Gruè di Cacao, offering a contemporary interpretation of Italian pastry artistry by visionary pâtissier Luca Bernardini. Perfumer Alexandra Carlin translated Luca Bernardini’s Tiramisù al Gruè di Cacao into fragrance after experiencing the dessert during a tasting. The composition opens with a cocoa shell extract that expresses the richness of freshly grated chocolate. At its heart, a mascarpone accord lends a soft, creamy character, while oakwood in the base provides structure. Subtle smoky and liqueur-like nuances give the fragrance a refined finish. The candle’s design reflects the dialogue between taste, form, and sophisticated colours. Its clean, balanced silhouette echoes the structure of the dessert. The earthy Tangerine shade of the exterior, inspired by the colour of cocoa, the central ingredient, was selected in collaboration with Bernardini and reinterpreted through a contemporary design perspective. The creation follows the Maison’s distinctive artisanal approach: a dense, darker outer wax shell, unscented and designed to preserve its sculptural shape, encloses a scented inner core in a lighter, luminous Tangerine hue. As the candle burns, the outer form remains intact, gradually revealing the striking colour contrast within. The Maison’s logo is subtly engraved into the wax, lending the creation understated elegance. The candle is presented in packaging featuring a bold berry shade, a colour palette introduced for the first time by Acqua di Parma. IMPORTANT – SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS For the best experience with your scented candle, Acqua di Parma recommends: • Do not burn the candle for more than 1.5 hours at a time. This helps prevent the flame from becoming too large.
• Use a suitable candle snuffer to extinguish the flame.
• Allow the wax to solidify completely before relighting the candle.
• Re-centre the wick in the wax after each use to ensure even burning.
• Regularly trim the wick to an ideal length of 5 mm using a wick trimmer to prevent it from sticking to the wax and producing smoke.
• Keep the wax pool free of matches and other debris.
• Do not use the candle when less than 5 mm of wax remains in the glass.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, curtains, and pets.
• Do not move the candle while it is burning or while the wax is hot. Wait until the wax has completely solidified.
• Do not place the candle on heat-sensitive surfaces, near flammable materials, by an open window, or next to other candles.
• If medical advice is needed, have the product container or label at hand.
• Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations.
