- -Argos Fall of Phaeton is a bold and powerful Eau de Parfum inspired by the dramatic mythology immortalized by Peter Paul Rubens. Radiant citrus notes, fiery spices, smoldering woods, and deep resins tell the story of Phaeton's rise and fall, creating an intense and unforgettable fragrance experience. Fall of Phaeton draws its inspiration from Rubens' dynamic Flemish Baroque style, characterized by movement, emotion, and divine spectacle. In the ancient myth, Phaeton sought to prove his divine heritage and convinced his father Helios to allow him to drive the chariot of the sun across the sky. Unable to control the fiery horses, he scorched parts of the earth while leaving others frozen. To restore balance, Zeus struck him down with a thunderbolt, casting him to earth in a moment of tragic grandeur. Rubens masterfully depicted this moment of chaos: Phaeton falling from the chariot while the Seasons and celestial beings react in horror. The scene symbolizes courage, recklessness, and the price of reaching beyond mortal limits. The fragrance channels the heat, drama, and emotional power of this myth. It opens with radiant bergamot and lemon, enhanced by cardamom, pink pepper, and fresh ginger. At its heart unfold glowing notes of labdanum, lavender, and agarwood, evoking the burning chariot and swirling heavens. The base of rich musk, animalic leather, warm tonka bean, and vanilla delivers a deep and intoxicating finale.
