- -The ‘Aspen’ scented candle – part of a winter collection inspired by the legendary holiday resort in Colorado – embodies the elegance of the mountains in a hand-applied screen print of 24-carat gold and silver. Vertical lines of pine lead down to the silhouette of a village, illuminated by golden reflections as darkness falls. A motif that hovers between ski slopes and fire-warmed chalets, perfectly suited to après-ski interiors and long winter evenings.
Pine and eucalyptus exude the freshness of high altitudes. This is followed by Texan cedar – textured and warm – reminiscent of timber-panelled walls and a fire that has been burning for hours. - -As well as the quality of our blends, looking after your candle properly is crucial for ensuring it burns cleanly and evenly. Following a few simple guidelines will ensure a steady flame, optimal fragrance diffusion and a healthier indoor environment. Light your candle and place it away from draughts and direct sunlight to ensure an even and steady flame. When lighting the candle, light all the wicks and stay nearby whilst it is burning. Keep the pool of melted wax free from matches, cut-off pieces of wick or other foreign objects.
Whilst the candle is burning, always allow the entire wax surface to melt completely before extinguishing it to prevent tunnelling; the first burn will naturally take longer. Once the entire surface has melted, do not let the candle burn for more than another hour.
Never allow the last few centimetres of wax to burn down, as the flame could otherwise come into contact with the glass and cause the container to overheat.
Carefully straighten the wicks after each burn, before the wax has completely set, to ensure even relighting. Clean the inside of the container regularly with an alcohol-free cleaning agent to prevent soot build-up and maintain the clarity of the glass.
Store your candle in a dry place at room temperature to preserve its quality and integrity in the long term.
Trim the wicks to approximately 6 mm before each use to ensure a clean, even flame. This simple measure prevents smoke and soot build-up, thereby preserving the purity of the flame and the elegance of the container. - -Made in Europe
