About the producer
- -Of the major champagne houses, BOLLINGER is the last remaining producer that does not belong to a large group. The company was founded in 1829 and has been run by descendants of the Bollinger family ever since. The brand has sometimes become famous because James Bond requests the champagne in various films. For example, he orders a bottle of LA GRANDE ANNÉE from 1999 in Quantum of Solace, which was released in 2008.
