- Cleaning is really simple. Simply wipe the mat down with soap and water and leave it to air dry.
- Mats with visible food residues can be sprayed with soapy water, scrubbed with a soft brush or soaked in soapy water and then rinsed off.
- Do not use alcohol-based cleaning products, as these can break down the TerraStrand yarns over time.
- Citrus-based cleaning products are also not recommended, as they can cause discolouration.
- Do not wash in the dishwasher or washing machine. Do not iron or tumble dry. A high-temperature disinfectant may be used up to once a week.
- Store Chilewich placemats flat.
