Thanks to large temperature differences between day and night at 1,000 metres above sea level, this Malbec has a good acidity structure, soft tannins and a strong body. The rather cool vintage yields an elegance rarely achieved by the PURO. This wine pleases with its fruit and flavour as well as its great harmony. It is versatile - from barbecues to stews, from pasta to risotto. It will drink excellently over the next 5 years.

About the producer

At the end of the 1990s, DIETER MEIER acquired a finca in Mendoza. It is located in Agrelo Alto, Argentina's most popular wine-growing region. The climate and low rainfall in Mendoza are ideal for producing organic wines. The grapes are harvested by hand when fully ripe. The first-class grapes are processed into top-quality wines in a state-of-the-art winery.
High-quality grape seed oil is produced from grape seeds extracted from the wine. This oil has a high concentration of antioxidants and unsaturated fatty acids, making it suitable for a wide range of applications in the kitchen and cosmetics. The gentle cold pressing process preserves the valuable vitamin E in the oil, which further enhances its antioxidant properties. Grape seed oil is particularly suitable for preparing salad dressings, for frying and for making skin care products.
