About the producer
- -The WALSH WHISKEY DISTILLERY is located in Royal Oak, Carlow, in the south-east of Ireland. Founded in 1999 by Bernard and Rosemary WALSH, it was the first new distillery to be established in the region for over 100 years and continues Ireland's old whiskey tradition with great vigour. In 2007, the premium edition THE IRISHMAN WHISKEY was launched, with which Bernard and Rosemary WALSH achieved great international recognition and for which they were honoured with numerous awards.

Tasting notes
Serve pure and at low room temperature or slightly chilled
- -Delicate notes of apple, pear, honey, cinnamon bark and fresh hay on the nose. Creamy on the palate with fine spice flavours such as cinnamon, vanilla and black pepper, plus fruit and cereals. Long, tart-sweet finish with earthy-woody notes, paired with caramel and dark chocolate.
