About the producer
- -Masataka Taketsuru, who founded NIKKA WHISKY DISTILLING CO. LTD. in 1934, learnt his trade in Scotland and became Japan's first whisky producer. He played a pioneering role in his Far Eastern homeland. NIKKA made its breakthrough in the 1960s and can still easily compete with its Scottish rivals today. The north of Japan was chosen as the location for the distillery thanks to the clear air and groundwater filtered through a layer of peat.

Serve well chilled on its own or as a base for cocktails
- -The NIKKA TAILORED is dark gold in colour in the glass. It has a gentle, sweet flavour with notes of apple, apricot and honey, as well as nuances of orange zest and chocolate. On the palate, the whisky is balanced and round with notes of biscuit and vanilla, followed by dark chocolate and citrus notes. Long finish.
