Assouline - Luxury & Culture since 1995
The American company Assouline was founded in 1995 by husband and wife Prosper and Martine Assouline. Their ambition was high, as they wanted to become the first luxury brand for culture. The entrepreneurial couple ambitiously established contacts with renowned designers and artists. Together with them, they designed everything for the contemporary private library. Scented candles, book boxes and leather slipcases were among the brand's first creations. In the high-quality range of your Globus online shop, you will find the elegant decorative books and illustrated books from the New York luxury label. The Assoulines see books as an integral part of the past, present and future. Books are also decorative and an expression of intellect and aesthetics. For this reason, the brand prints and publishes high-quality books, large books and illustrated books that are entertaining and, above all, beautiful to look at. The couple's two sons, Alexandre and Sébastien, also work in the family business. Their publishing house has published numerous books on a wide variety of topics. Their customers include decorators, estate agents and people with a taste for sophisticated furnishings. Discover design books as decoration for private or business premises.
Table books as a decorative home accessory
Coffee or cocktail table books are large-format books with an elaborately designed cover. They are ideal on sofa tables, in the lounge, in the waiting or entrance area. These books invite you to browse through them and pass the time or serve to create a pleasant ambience. As books are usually laid out closed on tables, a beautiful cover is perfect for creating an attractive decoration. The large books are elaborately designed hardcover versions with many colourful illustrations. The topics range from sport and social issues to art and culture. The company also offers bookends and book stands in extravagant designs. This means that the luxury books can not only be presented from the outside, but can even be opened. Design books for the stylish library
On the table, on a shelf or on a sideboard, there are a variety of ways to elegantly decorate your own library, living room or office with books. They can be carefully placed or casually scattered around the room. The decorative books from Assouline impress with their sophisticated design. The cover is decorated with large-format pictures, patterns and lettering. In addition, the design books offer an interesting and richly illustrated interior. Books with striking titles and pictures show the visitor what a person is interested in and in which areas they have furthered their education. For this reason, interior designers have long worked with books as decoration and eye-catchers. However, the books from the luxury label Assouline are more than just decoration. They are real books to open and read, which can be used to stylishly accentuate any room.
