SKOGSBERG & SMART

Skogsberg & Smart - the world of beautiful things

Magnus Skogsberg and Mimmi Smart are behind the company for high-quality home accessories. Before founding their own brand, the dynamic duo had already gained over 30 years of experience in media and advertising. In 2008, they founded the brand for luxury home accessories in order to realise their ideas and ingenuity together. They started with the now famous Hurricane lamp. Today, it is a trademark for the company's customised home accents. Since the start, the two creative minds have created a whole range of extraordinary glassware. Hand-painted vases and glasses are unique piece by piece. The reason for this is the brand's love of traditional craftsmanship. The extraordinary designs are realised by glassblowers in Czech Bohemia. They are among the most famous glassblowers in the world, which is why Skogsberg & Smart have chosen this region for the production of their luxury accessories. In addition, coloured designs are hand-painted, which underlines the uniqueness of the colourful decorative glasses.

Glassware in complex designs

Made for sophisticated environments, the hand-blown tealight glasses and vases are particularly impressive due to their complexity. The vases and tealight holders in an innovative bubble look are decorated with numerous small bubbles that are added to the glass as soon as the glass mass is moulded by hand. The bubbles of different sizes give the glassware its unmistakable look and also create great lighting effects. Other vases and decorative glasses are made of fine crystal glass, decorated with exciting cuts and lines. Many products are available in several colours. This gives every interior a sophisticated accent in a harmonious colour. The Swedish company Skogsberg & Smart is constantly working on new creations. Their previous designs can now be found in renowned hotels, restaurants and boutiques all over the world. In other words, wherever great value is placed on the finer things in life. The wide-ranging and high-quality assortment in the Skogsberg & Smart online shop at Globus offers a diverse selection of decorative and high-quality home accessories from Scandinavia. These little treasures will add elegant and unique accents to your home.

Handmade glassware from Czech production

The art of glassmaking has a long tradition in this Eastern European country. Even today, there are still numerous glass factories in which genuine craftsmen have mastered the art of glass blowing, moulding, decorating and glass painting. It is therefore not surprising that the Swedish entrepreneurial duo Skogsberg & Smart have opted for glass luxury items made in the Czech Republic. All series were and are manufactured there. From hand-painted vases to mouth-blown tea light holders, there is a lot to choose from. The home accessories are not only characterised by exceptional designs. The quality of the material is also impressive. Some of the purest crystal glass in the world is produced in the Czech Republic. This has a brilliant lustre and ensures a particularly beautiful refraction of light.
