Ferm LIVING - from wallpaper to furniture

The story of ferm LIVING began in 2005 with wallpaper. To be precise, it began with the lack of suitable wallpaper for founder Trine Anderson's new home. Without further ado, she decided to create an appealing wallpaper herself. The result was ten different designs, which she wanted to present at a trade fair in Denmark. As money was tight, she started with the production of one wallpaper and a few prints. That was the beginning of the now well-known ferm LIVING brand. The label's aim is still to bring balance to modern life with its creations. Since its beginnings, the company has developed considerably and significantly expanded its repertoire. In addition to fashionable wallpapers, there are numerous products that make life more beautiful and easier. These include furniture, home accessories, tableware, carpets and textiles. Sustainable furniture with a Scandinavian aesthetic

With ferm LIVING, the furniture inspiration comes from Scandinavia. It is particularly important to the Danish company that its designs reflect values that it can be proud of. The brand wants to inspire people to create a beautiful and cosy place for themselves where they feel comfortable. A place where life happens. The designers at ferm LIVING find inspiration in nature and in the relaxed Scandinavian style. Here, sofas, armchairs, tables and chairs combine soft shapes with rich textures. Deep colours ensure authenticity in the composed atmosphere of your own home. The company's headquarters are located in beautiful Copenhagen. From there, ferm LIVING works with various craftsmen around the world. The sustainable designer furniture is made from materials such as wood, metal and fabrics made from natural fibres. These are relaxed designs that not only look good, but are also good for the environment. Clean lines and appealing colours come together here. You too can buy furniture in Danish interior design and have it conveniently delivered to your home.

From Scandinavian style to country house style and industrial design, the creations are an elegant enrichment. Simple colours, naturally beautiful wood and suitably coated metal create a timeless and elegant effect.
