Kitchen appliances by BERKEL for Kitchen & Table

Berkel, the myth was born in 1898 from the inventive spirit of Wilhelmus Andrianus Van Berkel, who, through a combination of passion and experience, mechanically imitated the movement of the hand cutting with a knife. The invention of the slicing machine is an ingenious idea that quickly spreads throughout the world. By the 1950s, Berkel was no longer just an innovative manufacturer of slicing machines, but the manufacturer of a brand that had become a true status symbol.
