Passionate and fascinated, he watched the craftsman's meticulous work on a bright red leather. The darkness of the room was in stark contrast to the radiant light outside. The idea of creating a harmony of leather and raspberry between shadow and light came to him as if by magic. For Cuir Grenat, the perfumer wanted the scents to have a tactile feel. So raspberry and leather look and smell the same; they are flavours and fragrances that have unexpected contrasts and similarities.
