Ruinart
from the Champagne region, France
The nose develops soft aromas of freshly picked red fruits such as cherries, raspberries and wild strawberries, accompanied by delicate floral and lush tropical fruit nuances of rose, pomegranate, lychee and guava. Some spicy accents of tonka bean and nutmeg underline the overall impression. The assemblage technique, with short maceration and a proportion of grapes developed into red wine, preserves the flavours and results in a silky, sensual palate impression. The low tannin content also makes it very light. The wine itself is silky, delicate with a clear, strong first impression, which is softened by a delicate perlage. The aromas of freshly picked red fruit are fully expressed. The wine is generous, round and balanced by a delightful freshness. On the palate, it expresses itself with an elegant hint of peppermint and pink grapefruit.
Chardonnay, Pinot Noir

About the producer

  • -

Ruinart, the oldest champagne house in the world, has cultivated a unique lifestyle since it was founded in Reims in 1729, reflecting the era of the Enlightenment in a special way. At that time, French philosophy and culture had a great influence on the world and the outstanding position of the House of Ruinart was of corresponding radiance. Ruinart also broke new ground in the production of champagne: very early on, the decision was made to use the rare and precious Chardonnay grape for the cuvées. Elegance, purity, expertise and charisma were the guiding principles for the world's most exclusive champagne house.
