- -The bowl is another new edition in the STOFF Nagel collection.
In the 1960s, when the bowl first came onto the market, it was intended as an ashtray. Today it is being relaunched with a different purpose. It invites its owner to get even more creative with the STOFF Nagel collection and integrate seasonal decorations into the bowl - either in combination with a sculpture or on its own.
Care
- -This special piece is made of solid brass and develops a natural patina over time. As the product is not coated, the patina begins to form immediately after manufacture. Therefore, your STOFF Nagel product may already show traces of patina when new. Candle drops can be easily removed by placing the bowl in hot water until the wax is soft. To remove the patina, place the shell in a solution of hot water with 1 tablespoon of citric acid per 0.5 litre of water and a drop of washing-up liquid. Leave the solution to work for 10 minutes. Then wipe the bowl with a dry cloth. If patina residues are still visible, polish the bowl with brass polish and wipe it again with a dry cloth to restore the shine.
