About the producer
- -The CAOL ILA DISTILLERY was founded in 1846 by Hector Henderson in the north of the Scottish island of Islay. It draws its water from Loch Nam Ban - on its journey there it flows through layers of limestone and peat. Only a small part of the production is reserved for the coveted, matured single malt bottlings.

Serve pure and at low room temperature or slightly chilled
- -Fresh and characterised by herbal notes on the nose, with smoke, tobacco leaves, nutty notes and lemon zest. Dense and oily on the palate, with elegant smoky notes and a fine, subtle sweetness in the background. Long, warm, peppery-smoky finish.
