- -To preserve the unique properties of alpaca fibre, we recommend gently vacuuming and shaking out your alpaca garment regularly. Brushing the fur occasionally with a special brush maintains its natural sheen and removes light soiling. If the fur is more heavily soiled, you can dust it with talcum powder and then brush the powder out. In exceptional cases, we recommend professional cleaning.
