Performance artist Aliki van der Kruijs has thought about how to capture the feeling of raindrops falling on your face and print them on textiles, according to the motto 'Rain to wear'. The result is a scientific collection of meteorological facts in which the artist captures different weather conditions by laying out pre-treated, water-sensitive textiles in nature. The result is visual recordings of various rainy weather conditions, from drizzle to continuous rain. The highest quality Panama cotton, woven in Europe, was used for these shower curtains and printed with the artists' original works. After printing, the cotton is treated with a special Eco-TEFLON coating, which makes the cotton waterproof yet soft to the touch like real Panama cotton.
