With your Pluscard, you automatically take part in the Globus bonus programme free of charge. You benefit from discounts and other advantages such as special offers exclusively for Pluscard holders.

3. period of validity and use of your Pluscard

Your Pluscard may have an expiry date. In this case, your Pluscard is valid until this expiry date and will be renewed automatically. Your Pluscard is personal and non-transferable. If a signature is required, you must sign the card as soon as you receive it and destroy the old card immediately. Such a card is only valid with your signature. Your Pluscard remains the property of Globus at all times and can be reclaimed without giving reasons.

4. pluscard with payment function

4.1 Payment function

In addition to participation in the bonus programme, the Pluscard also enables cashless shopping

"Payment function" at Globus. You must expressly apply for the Pluscard with payment function. Your application may be rejected without giving reasons. This contract is concluded between you and Globus for the payment function.

The Pluscard with payment function is free of charge (no annual fee) and authorises you to make cashless payments. The corresponding purchases of goods and services and the resulting receivables are deemed to have been authorised by you:

a) upon signature of the sales receipt or

b) by stating the name, card number and expiry date, in particular for distance transactions such as telephone, correspondence and Internet purchases, or

c) by other authenticating details such as official ID, fingerprint, password or PIN at Globus' discretion.

4.2 Additional cards

You can authorise persons living in the same household to use your Pluscard with payment function ("additional cards"). As the holder of the Pluscard, you have unlimited liability for all obligations arising from the use of additional cards. You are obliged to ensure compliance with these agreements when using additional cards. Additional cards can be given the same digital access to the Pluscard as your own Pluscard.

4.3 Creditworthiness check

For the payment function, your creditworthiness will be checked individually on the basis of the information you provide about your income situation. You authorise us to obtain all the information required to check your application and to process this contract (e.g. previously registered consumer loans, personal details, solvency and other obligations) from public offices, private bodies and credit agencies as well as from the Central Office for Credit Information and the Consumer Credit Information Office (ZEK/IKO).

You acknowledge and recognise that this contract will be reported to the IKO in accordance with the Consumer Credit Act. In addition, you authorise the ZEK to report this contract, including any outstanding amount in the event of card blocking, misuse of the card or qualified payment arrears. The ZEK is authorised to make this data available to other members of the ZEK.

4.4 Credit limit

The maximum credit limit for the Pluscard with payment function is CHF 10,000 (including any additional cards). You can be granted a provisional credit limit of CHF 499 at any time upon request, which may not be exceeded.

You will be informed of your individual credit limit in writing when you receive your copy of the contract after a successful credit check. The credit limit can be adjusted at any time and you will also be notified of this. If you do not submit a written counter-report within 10 days, you will be deemed to have accepted the communicated limit.

It is possible to exceed the individual credit limit in the short term if the outstanding amount is reduced again accordingly after receipt of the next statement. You are obliged to use the Pluscard only to the extent that you are able to pay the outstanding amounts on time.

4.5 Billing

The monthly (collective) statement contains the receivables for the purchases of goods and services made. The monthly statement does not give rise to a new claim. Statements that are not objected to in writing within 4 weeks of the date of issue are deemed to have been recognised by you.

You undertake to pay all claims resulting from purchases of goods and services with the Pluscard plus any fees and interest. The latter can be found in the fee table and may be adjusted by Globus at any time, in particular if the cost structure changes, which will be communicated to you in a suitable form (e.g. on the statement).
