About the producer

    The EMINENTE distillery was founded by César Martí, whose family has been in the sugar business for generations. After just nine years as an apprentice, he became the youngest maestro ronero on the island of Cuba, something no one else has managed to do to this day. EMINENTE RUM is the perfect mix between the bitter rum often used for cocktails, which is produced in the west of Cuba, and the fine, fruity style from the east of the island, and is therefore very versatile.

    In the glass, the EMINENTE RUM RESERVA 7 YEARS shows its beautiful, cinnamon-brown colour. The bouquet is seductive, with notes of coffee beans, vanilla and sugar cane against a slightly smoky background. Smooth on the palate, with flavours of chocolate and a peppery spiciness. Ginger and prunes linger on the long finish.
