How To
Bake your own Bukhari bread
Bukhara, a historic city and World Heritage Site in the Uzbek part of the former Silk Road, has become synonymous with Jewish communities in Central Asia. Flatbreads have always been part of the culinary tradition there. From the Caspian Sea to present-day Pakistan, many people still live primarily on stone fruits, nuts, herbs and flatbreads, which are flavoured with warm, fragrant spices to fill the kitchen and heart with their aromas.
