Wholemeal pizza dough

"Anyone who thinks that wholemeal pizza is not for real pizza lovers has not yet tried my homemade wholemeal pizza dough. With this healthy version of the classic pizza dough, I can win over even the biggest Italian food fan: this recipe not only makes the pizza crispy and light and fluffy, but also particularly tasty."

For two pizzas you need:

400 g wholemeal flour

1 tsp dry yeast

1 tsp salt

230 ml water, lukewarm + extra for the dry yeast

4 tbsp olive oil

And this is how you prepare the dough:

Place the wholemeal flour in the bowl of the food processor with the lukewarm water and process everything into a dough. Then dissolve the dry yeast in a little water at room temperature and work it into the dough. Place the kneaded dough in a bowl and cover with cling film to rest. Now leave the dough to rise until doubled in size, which takes about 3 hours. After rising, knead the dough vigorously for another 10 minutes. For the pizzas, shape the dough into balls and place them on a baking tray lined with baking paper - leave enough space and separate the balls with baking paper. Sprinkle the dough balls with water, leave to rise in the fridge for 18 hours and then dust with a little flour."
