About the producer
- -BRÄNNLAND founder Andreas Sundgren has set himself the goal of producing "the best iscider in the world". Based near Umeå in northern Sweden - around 650 kilometres north of Stockholm - he has been pursuing his vision since 2010. Sundgren processes no fewer than 18 apple varieties from all over Sweden. These are harvested when fully ripe in late autumn and then stored. Production only starts when the temperature drops to minus 20 degrees in winter. The apples are crushed and pressed, the fresh juice then flows into mobile tanks that cool down outside in the icy cold polar air. During this process, the concentrated sweet juice separates from the water it contains, which freezes due to the natural ambient temperature. The concentrated juice is then drawn off and fermented in the cellar.

- -The ISCIDER 34° BRIX has a complex aroma with notes of ripe apple, cinnamon, sultanas, quince, orange blossom and dried apricots. Pleasantly soft and juicy on the palate with citric nuances and honey notes. Perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. Lingers for a long time. Goes just as well with mature cheese and desserts as it does with a cigar.
